Designed for carrier-class deployments, Cloudmark Gateway empowers service providers with complete control over message handling and policy enforcement at the network edge. As a result, the majority of unwanted email traffic is stopped before impacting the messaging infrastructure and storage, thus significantly reducing system costs.
Intelligence at the Edge
Cloudmark Gateway is able to run full content filtering, not just IP filtering, at the edge of the network. In addition, Cloudmark Sender Intelligence reputation data and service provider policies can be applied at the SMTP stage to limit all forms of messaging abuse. Specific threat prevention techniques, such as anti-denial of service, traffic shaping and connection throttling discourages attackers from targeting the network by severely restricting connection attempts. And Cloudmark Gateway with Cloudmark Authority stops 98% of abusive email traffic at the edge, dramatically reducing the impact on the messaging infrastructure.
